The film stars Naveen Polishetty as Raju, a witty and somewhat irresponsible young man from a village who dreams of a lavish, “king-sized” life. After facing humiliation from his relatives for his squandering ways, Raju decides that the quickest path to status is marrying into extreme wealth.<\/p>\n
He sets his sights on Charulatha (Meenakshi Chaudhary), the daughter of a powerful and seemingly multi-millionaire landlord, Bhupathi Raju (Rao Ramesh). Launching the hilarious “Operation Charulatha,” Raju uses every trick in the book to win over both the daughter and the skeptical father. However, the “happily ever after” hits a massive snag immediately after the wedding.<\/p>\n
Raju discovers that his father-in-law’s wealth was a sophisticated facade; instead of inheriting an empire, Raju has married into a mountain of debt.
