Synopsis

The series is set at Seorin High School, where a group of students discovers a mysterious mobile application called “Girigo.” The app claims to grant the deepest wishes of its users, but the students quickly realize that every fulfilled desire comes with a lethal price. Following the sudden and suspicious death of a classmate, a chilling pattern emerges: the app begins predicting the exact time of death for anyone who has made a wish, displaying a relentless red countdown on their smartphone screens

The narrative follows five friends—Yoo Se-ah, Lim Na-ri, Kim Geon-woo, Kang Ha-joon, and Choi Hyeong-wook—as they are pulled into this supernatural death trap. As the timers on their phones tick closer to zero, the group must navigate a landscape of high-stakes horror and psychological tension. The “Girigo” app serves as a dark reflection of their teenage aspirations and insecurities, turning their own hopes against them in a ritualistic chain of lethal consequences.

Desperate to survive, the students launch an investigation into the origins of the application and the malevolent force behind it. They are forced to confront uncomfortable truths about each other and the dark history of their school.
