Synopsis

Kishkindhapuri (alternatively titled Kishkindhapuri – Radio Station) is a 2025 Telugu-language horror-thriller directed by Koushik Pegallapati and starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran.

The story begins in 1989 at the “Suvarna Maya” radio station in the village of Kishkindhapuri, where a malevolent spirit brutally murders the station owners. The station is sealed off with talismans and remains abandoned for 30 years.

In the present day, Raghava (Bellamkonda Sreenivas) and his girlfriend Mythili (Anupama Parameswaran) run a “Ghost Walking Tour” business. While their tours are usually carefully staged frauds designed to entertain tourists, they accidentally find themselves trapped inside the shuttered Suvarna Maya radio station.

The dormant spirit—a vengeful entity named Visravaputra—is awakened and begins broadcasting chilling messages through the station’s old equipment. The spirit marks the intruders with a swastika symbol and begins killing them one by one. Raghava, who has a secret investigative past, must uncover the truth behind the 1980s tragedy. He discovers that the spirit was once a brilliant but shunned radio enthusiast who was tortured and killed by the station’s owners after a talent competition went wrong.

As Mythili becomes possessed by the entity, Raghava must engage in a high-stakes psychological and supernatural battle to break the curse and escape the station alive.
