Synopsis

12A Railway Colony is a 2025 Telugu-language horror crime thriller directed by Nani Kasaragadda and written by Dr. Anil Vishwanath (the writer of the Polimera series). The film features Allari Naresh in a serious, non-comic role.

The movie is set in a rustic railway colony in Warangal. The story follows Karthik (Allari Naresh), an easygoing orphan who works as a henchman for a local rowdy-turned-politician named Tillu (Jeevan Kumar). Karthik is deeply in love with his neighbor, Aaradhana (Kamakshi Bhaskarla), an aspiring badminton player who initially rejects his advances.

The plot kicks into gear during a tense by-election. Tillu gives Karthik a mysterious parcel with strict instructions to hide it safely and never open it. With police raids increasing, Karthik decides to stash the parcel in Aaradhana’s house, believing she and her mother are away. However, upon entering the house, he discovers the shocking sight of two dead bodies—Aaradhana and her mother.

Karthik becomes the prime suspect in the murder investigation led by a senior police officer, Rana Pratap (Sai Kumar). To prove his innocence and find the real killer, Karthik begins his own investigation. The story shifts from a simple romance into a complex mystery involving:

Karthik experiences visions and believes he is communicating with Aaradhana’s spirit.

The murders appear linked to Tillu’s political rivals and a secret past involving Aaradhana’s family.

Black magic elements are introduced as the truth behind the “parcel” and the motive for the crimes are revealed.

The final act uncovers a web of lies involving a doctor (Anish Kuruvilla) and his wife (Abhirami), leading to a high-stakes confrontation. The film concludes with several rapid-fire twists that explain the connection between the various subplots and the true identity of the killer.
