Synopsis

Mowgli (2025) is a raw Telugu romantic action drama that tells the story of Murali Krishna, nicknamed “Mowgli,” a young man raised in the wilderness of Parvathipuram. Having lost his parents at a young age, he considers the forest his mother and lives a rugged life, dreaming of one day becoming a police officer. To earn a living, he assists film crews that visit the forest, often working as a stunt double or local guide.

During one such film shoot, Mowgli meets and falls deeply in love with Jasmine, a talented background dancer who is deaf and mute. Despite their different worlds and her physical challenges, the two form an intense emotional bond. Their quiet romance in the heart of the forest becomes a sanctuary for both, away from the complexities of the city.

However, their peace is shattered when Christopher Nolan, a ruthless and sadistic Sub-Inspector, arrives in the area. Obsessed with Jasmine’s beauty, Nolan uses his power to harass the couple, eventually framing Mowgli in false criminal cases to separate them. The conflict escalates into a dangerous game of survival as Mowgli is forced to use his knowledge of the wild to protect Jasmine from the law’s corruption.

The film explores the “war between love and lust,” contrasting Mowgli’s pure devotion with the antagonist’s predatory obsession. As the couple is pushed into “Aranya Vaasam” (life in exile), Mowgli must decide if he can maintain his dream of joining the police force while fighting a system that has turned against him. It is a story of resilience, primal instincts, and the lengths one will go to for love.
