Synopsis

The story is set in modern-day Seoul, which has suddenly descended into chaos due to a surge in unexplainable supernatural events, ritualistic murders, and mass possessions. A shadowy cult known as the “Black Mass” is behind the terror, working in secret to summon an ancient, powerful demon to the human world. As the police find themselves completely outmatched by these dark forces, they are forced to seek help from a legendary and secretive trio of hunters.

This team, known as the “Holy Night,” is led by Ba Woo, a man with immense physical strength who uses his bare hands to crush demons. He is joined by Sharon, a skilled exorcist who can sense the presence of evil, and Kim Gun, who provides technical and strategic support. Their mission becomes personal when a desperate neuropsychiatrist named Jung-won begs them to save her younger sister, Eun-seo, who has become the primary vessel for the cult’s demonic ritual.

As the team tracks the cult through the city’s underbelly, they discover that the summoning is reaching its final stage. The hunters must battle through hordes of possessed followers to reach a hidden cathedral where the barrier between worlds is at its thinnest. The tension rises as Ba Woo and his team realize that saving the girl might require a sacrifice that could destroy them all.

In a climactic showdown, the Holy Night team faces the demon face-to-face. They must combine their supernatural powers and raw strength to banish the entity before it can fully manifest. The film explores themes of faith, found family, and the heavy price of protecting the innocent from the darkness that lives among them.
