Synopsis

Velu is a street-smart, morally flexible private detective in Chennai who operates under the guise of an “ethical” investigator while secretly skimming money from his wealthy clients. His life of low-stakes scams is upended when he crosses paths with Bhumi, a powerful philanthropist who runs a high-profile NGO. Beneath her charitable exterior, Bhumi operates a ruthless criminal syndicate, using her organization as a front for high-end trafficking and money laundering for powerful politicians.

The conflict ignites when a mysterious gang wearing masks pulls off a daring heist, stealing ₹440 crores of black money that belonged to a corrupt politician but was being held by Bhumi. To avoid a lethal fallout with her political patrons, Bhumi blackmails Velu, forcing him to use his detective skills to track down the robbers. Velu, who usually avoids real danger, is thrust into a high-stakes hunt where the lines between the “good guys” and “bad guys” are nonexistent.

As Velu digs deeper into the mystery of the masked robbers, he discovers that he might be a pawn in a much larger game involving betrayal, revenge, and deep-seated social anger. The film is a gritty dark comedy and heist thriller that explores the “mask” people wear to hide their true intentions. In a world where everyone is a predator, Velu must decide if he can maintain his own survival while navigating a landscape of absolute corruption.
