Synopsis

The story follows Shiva (Sudheer Babu), a logical and modern ghost hunter who specializes in debunking paranormal myths using technology. He believes that “fear” is the real beast, not ghosts. However, his life takes a dark turn when he starts having recurring nightmares about a woman trying to kill an infant—a vision that his parents desperately try to ignore.

Against his family’s warnings, Shiva travels to the village of Rudrayapura to investigate a series of mysterious deaths. There, he learns about Pisacha Bandhanam, a forbidden tantric ritual used to bind spirits to guard hidden treasures. He discovers that he has a deep, spiritual connection to the temple’s sealed vaults and that his own birth was the result of a divine sacrifice.

The main threat arises in the form of Dhanapisachini (Sonakshi Sinha), a terrifying “Demon of Greed.” She is a vengeful spirit bound by ancient magic who will kill anyone who tries to touch the temple’s sacred wealth. Shiva’s skepticism is shattered as he realizes he must stop a greedy syndicate—led by his own relatives—from unleashing the demon’s full power upon the world.

In the final act, Shiva must transition from a man of science to a man of faith. He embraces his destiny as a protector of the divine, engaging in a high-stakes battle against both human greed and supernatural evil. The film concludes with Shiva performing a ritual to grant salvation to trapped souls, while a post-credits scene hints at a larger cosmic war to come.
