Synopsis

Set in the quiet railway town of Ratlam, the story follows Mariam (Shalini Pandey), a shy young woman living in a strict household headed by her authoritarian father, David (Ashish Vidyarthi). Finding herself trapped by small-town expectations and her father’s traditional views on marriage, Mariam finds solace in poetry.

With the help of her younger sister, she begins sharing her poems anonymously online under a pseudonym. To grow her digital presence, she realizes she needs music and teams up with two “misfits”: Robo Kumar (Swanand Kirkire), a flamboyant, middle-aged brass band singer, and DJ Psycho (Zahan Kapoor), a neighbor with a talent for techno beats. Together, they form a band that bridges the gap between traditional brass instruments and modern electronics, aiming to enter a major influencer competition and find their freedom through art.
