Synopsis

Season 2 picks up immediately after the legendary confrontation at the Valley of Elah. With Goliath defeated, David (Michael Iskander) is no longer just a humble shepherd but a national hero—and a perceived threat to the crown. The new season explores the “Age of Iron” as it transforms ancient warfare and political alliances.

As King Saul’s (Ali Suliman) mental health and reign continue to falter under the weight of his own pride, he becomes increasingly obsessed with eliminating David. Caught between his loyalty to the king and his divine destiny, David must navigate the treacherous waters of the royal court, forbidden loves, and shifting tribal loyalties. The narrative delves into David’s transition from a musician and poet into a battle-hardened warrior, all while the kingdom of Israel nears the brink of a total collapse.
