Synopsis

Set against the gritty backdrop of Bombay in 1994, the story follows Hussain Ustara, a flamboyant and cold-blooded contract killer who is notorious for using a barber’s razor as his weapon of choice. Ustara operates in a moral gray area, occasionally serving as a covert operative for Intelligence Officer Ismail Khan to take down rival gangsters. His life of performative aggression and detachment is upended when he meets Afshan, a fragile widow determined to avenge the murder of her husband, Billu, by the powerful mobster Jalal.

What begins as a mission of professional convenience evolves into a “forbidden love” as Ustara finds himself tamed by Afshan’s conviction. He decides to protect her from the corruption of the underworld, taking on the burden of her revenge himself so she can remain untainted by the violence. As the two bond, Ustara trains her in combat, but his primary goal shifts toward eradicating Jalal’s drug empire while keeping Afshan safe from the crossfire of a looming gang war.

The narrative expands globally as the conflict moves between the streets of Mumbai and the bullfighting arenas of Spain, where Jalal orchestrates his operations. Internal betrayals and shifting allegiances within the police force and the underworld complicate their journey, leading to a series of high-stakes seizures and ambushes. The film explores the human cost of these violent choices, questioning whether redemption is possible for someone who has lived a life of crime.
