Synopsis

The story centers on a celebratory outstation party hosted by Raman and Jayanti in a secluded Himachal Pradesh mansion to mark their 10th wedding anniversary. Among the guests is Sohrab Handa, a man known for his abrasive personality, sharp tongue, and unapologetic arrogance. Throughout the evening, he relentlessly insults and belittles the other attendees, creating an atmosphere of growing tension beneath the veneer of friendship and civility.

After a night of heavy drinking and parlor games, the celebratory mood is shattered when Sohrab Handa is discovered dead in the early hours of the morning with his throat slit. The discovery of the body transforms the gathering into a tense crime scene, and local police inspector Afzal Qureshi arrives to begin an urgent investigation

As Inspector Qureshi begins his interrogations, the veneer of the polite, tight-knit group quickly dissolves. It soon becomes apparent that while everyone seemed to “love” or at least tolerate Sohrab, nearly every guest at the party held a significant motive to wish him dead. The investigation digs into the deep-seated resentments, hidden secrets, and fractured relationships simmering beneath the surface.

Ultimately, the film functions as both a classic whodunit and a psychological study of emotional violence. By peeling back the layers of the guests’ inner lives, the narrative exposes how ordinary people can be pushed to extreme actions. As the mystery unfolds, the focus shifts from merely finding the culprit to unraveling the complex, often dark dynamics of a group that has been hiding their true feelings from one another for years.
