Synopsis

In rural Tamil Nadu during the 1990s, Kittan Velusamy hails from a socially marginalised community yet harbours an unwavering dream of representing India in kabaddi. Battling caste prejudice, violent rivals, and the weight of his own identity, Kittan turns his natural talent into a mission of defiance and hope.

As his village, family and the sport itself become intertwined in a larger political game, Kittan must choose not just how to play the game — but who he’s playing for.
