Synopsis

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is the direct sequel to the 2023 horror hit. Set one year after the supernatural events of the first film, the story follows Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson), his sister Abby (Piper Rubio), and Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) as they struggle to move on from the trauma of the original Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza implosion.

In their small town, the legend of the incident has warped into a “campfire tale,” inspiring a kitschy local event called “Fazfest.” Despite Mike and Vanessa’s attempts to hide the truth from Abby, she sneaks out to find her old animatronic friends, inadvertently reigniting horrors that were never meant to be unearthed. As the vengeful spirit of Charlotte Emily manipulates the new “Toy” animatronics at a different franchise location, Mike must once again fight to protect his family from William Afton’s dark, lingering legacy.
