Synopsis

Set in the spiritual heart of Junagadh, the film follows Lalji (Karan Joshi), a struggling rickshaw driver burdened by debt and a past he’s trying to outrun. His life is a cycle of alcohol and financial despair, reaching a breaking point when he takes a massive loan to save his injured daughter, Khushi.

The story takes a surreal turn when Lalji, chasing a bag of money he believes was left by a passenger, find himself trapped inside a high-tech, remote farmhouse with no way to escape or contact his family. As days pass without food or water, he is forced to confront his demons. In his isolation, he is visited by a mysterious figure named Laalo (Shruhad Goswami), who claims to be Lord Krishna. What begins as a desperate fight for survival evolves into a profound journey of redemption, where Lalji must improve his “karma” to earn his freedom and reunite with his wife, Tulsi (Reeva Rachh).

The film has been hailed as one of the most successful “indie” stories in Indian cinema history. The production was even granted a rare “VPF waiver” by major multiplex chains like PVR INOX, a privilege usually reserved for massive superstar films.
