Synopsis

Following the tragic and mysterious death of her brother, June moves to Milan, Italy, seeking a fresh start at an elite international boarding school. Shaken and emotionally fragile, she finds a sense of security in Will, the school’s “golden boy” and perfect honor student. Their relationship seems like the stable anchor June needs to heal, but it isn’t long before her new life is complicated by the arrival of James.

James is Will’s best friend and polar opposite—a charismatic but volatile rebel who hides a dangerous secret life as an underground MMA fighter. While James initially treats June with a cold, mocking hostility, their mutual resentment quickly morphs into an undeniable and electric attraction. June finds herself caught in a treacherous love triangle where the safety of Will’s world clashes with the raw, forbidden intensity James offers.

As June is pulled deeper into their social circle, she discovers that the elite facade of the school is a lie. Everyone, including the “perfect” Will, is hiding secrets that threaten to unravel. The clandestine fights James participates in are only the tip of an iceberg that connects back to the dark history of the school and, potentially, the circumstances surrounding June’s own family tragedy.

In the climactic final act, June must confront the reality that her “fresh start” was never really safe. Forced to choose between the boy who protects her and the boy who challenges everything she knows about herself, she must decide if she is willing to risk her heart-and her life-on a love that could either save her or destroy her. The film is a dark, atmospheric exploration of grief, obsession, and the thin line between love and hate.
