Synopsis

Picture This is a 2025 British-Indian romantic comedy that offers a cultural spin on the familiar tropes of modern dating. The film is a remake of the 2024 Australian movie Five Blind Dates and stars Simone Ashley (known for Bridgerton) in the lead role.

The story follows Pia (Simone Ashley), a fiercely independent photographer running a struggling portrait studio in London. While she is passionate about her craft, she is on the verge of financial ruin and stubbornly refuses to take “boring” commercial jobs like passport photos. Her life is a whirlwind of dodging late rent payments and navigating the high-pressure expectations of her traditional British-Indian family.
