Synopsis

Turbo is a high-octane action-comedy that follows Aruvipurathu Jose, a rugged jeep driver from Idukki known for his “Turbo” speed and penchant for getting into brawls. Jose lives a simple life with his sprightly mother, but his loyalty to his friends often leads him into trouble. The plot kicks off when Jose intervenes in a fight to protect his best friend, Jerry, a bank manager who was attacked by henchmen over a romantic dispute with his girlfriend, Indulekha.

To escape the escalating tension in their hometown, Jose and Jerry relocate to Chennai, hoping for a fresh start. However, they soon discover that the small-town conflict was just the tip of the iceberg. They inadvertently stumble into a massive, high-stakes corporate and political conspiracy involving hundreds of crores. At the center of this web is Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram, a cold and calculated kingmaker who manipulates the banking system to buy the loyalties of ruling party MLAs.

As Jerry becomes a target of Vetrivel’s ruthless operation, Jose is forced to shed his simple driver persona and embrace his “Turbo” identity to protect his friends and family. The narrative shifts from lighthearted comedy to a visceral action saga as Jose faces off against Vetrivel’s vast army of mercenaries and corrupt officials. Despite being an outsider in the sophisticated criminal underworld of Chennai, Jose uses his raw strength and tactical driving skills to disrupt Vetrivel’s carefully laid plans.
