Synopsis

Created by the visionary Sebastián Ortega, this 8-episode series is a gritty, “trap-culture” reimagining of the classic forbidden romance. Set against the vibrant but dangerous backdrop of modern-day Buenos Aires, it blends the energy of urban music with a high-stakes gang war.

The story follows Kaia (Tatu Glikman), a fiercely talented trap artist from the outskirts of the city who is fighting to make her mark on the international music scene. Her life takes a sharp turn when she meets Nico (Franco Masini), a young man from a wealthy, elite family who has recently been discharged from a mental health clinic and is struggling with existential angst.

Despite their vastly different worlds, the two share an instant, undeniable connection. However, their attempts to build a life together trigger a violent chain of events. Nico’s wealthy social circle and Kaia’s neighborhood rivals collide, sparking a brutal gang war that forces the couple into a spiral of secrecy and survival. The series explores whether love can truly act as a form of “class resistance” or if the structures built to keep people apart are too powerful to break.
