Synopsis

The second season picks up after a significant time jump from the series debut. Will (Seth Rogen) has relocated to San Diego and is working a corporate job, while Sylvia (Rose Byrne) has successfully transitioned from a stay-at-home mom to a thriving event planner. Despite the distance and their growing professional responsibilities, the two former best friends find their lives becoming just as chaotic and intertwined as ever.

The central conflict of the season begins with Will getting engaged to his boss, Jenna. Sylvia is tasked with helping plan the engagement party and the wedding, but the “platonic” bond between her and Will begins to create friction in their respective romantic relationships.
