Synopsis

Departing from the land wars and grit of Yellowstone, The Madison is being described as Sheridan’s “most intimate work to date.” The series follows the Clyburn family, led by matriarch Stacy (Michelle Pfeiffer), as they flee their high-octane lives in Manhattan following a devastating family tragedy.

Seeking solace and a fresh start, they relocate to the serene but unfamiliar landscapes of the Madison River Valley in central Montana. The story explores the profound emotional toll of loss and the “ties that bind,” as Stacy and her daughters, Abigail and Paige, attempt to navigate their grief while adjusting to rural life. The trailer hints at a deeply emotional “profound love story” between Stacy and her husband, Preston (Kurt Russell), though it also suggests that the tragedy haunting the family may be closer than it appears.
