Synopsis

Unchosen is a deeply unsettling psychological thriller that pulls back the curtain on the dangerous hidden world of a secretive religious cult. Rosie is a devoted wife and mother living in a cloistered Christian community with her husband Adam and their young daughter a seemingly peaceful world governed by strict religious codes and unwavering loyalty.

Everything changes with the fateful arrival of Sam a mysterious escaped prisoner who stumbles into their tightly controlled community and throws into sharp relief the reality and the restraints of Rosie’s world. As cracks begin to appear in Rosie and Adam’s marriage, Sam presents himself as her saviour but with his dark criminal past, the question looms: where does the greatest danger truly lie with the cult, or with Sam?
