Synopsis

The new season picks up exactly two hours after the Season 6 finale, diving straight into the aftermath of Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack’s (Martin Henderson) long-awaited wedding. While the couple is technically in their “honeymoon phase,” the peace is short-lived as they navigate the complexities of married life on the farm and their newfound path toward parenthood. Marley (Rachel Drance), the expectant mother introduced in the finale, officially asks the newlyweds to adopt her baby, setting off a season-long journey of emotional preparation and legal hurdles.

The town itself is under siege from a different kind of threat. Doc Mullins (Tim Matheson) is fighting for his professional legacy as his medical license is suspended following the aggressive expansion efforts of Grace Valley Hospital. This conflict introduces Victoria (Sara Canning), a sharp medical board investigator whose presence in Virgin River isn’t just professional—she has a mysterious past connection with a local resident that could stir up old embers.
